Sketchbook Pages!

It's been a long time coming, but I finally had time to post some highlights from my recent sketchbook pages. Feast your eyes.

Soon: I announce a new, possibly (hopefully) ongoing comic strip project I've been asked to create!

My first review!

I can't explain how excited I am, and how validated it makes me feel, to get my first review--and it's a good one! It's up on one of the best mini-comics sites out there, and one I check daily, Optical Sloth. Check it out: http://www.opticalsloth.com/?p=3471

This inspired me to add a list of awesome links over on the right there. There are some minicomic review sites, some of my favorite publishers, some truly talented cartoonists (who also happen to be incredibly cool people), and a couple of other links of interest.

I've also added the "Buy Now" button for Comics On Fire #1 to the top right of this page, so I can make new posts without worrying that no one can find it. I'll be posting some sketchbook stuff soon.

After SPX

Holy crap was SPX incredible. I really had the time of my life meeting so many great cartoonists and publishers, and I walked away with a box full of awesome comics. I'll take some pics of my haul and try to post them soon. I also gave out and traded a bunch of copies of my Comics On Fire #1. I am trying to figure out a way to sell them (and my future comics) here on my blog, so stay tuned. The strips in the book run the gamut from gags to the experimental, but they are mostly funny. I tried to include a bunch of different things because it is kind of my calling card right now. Here is a strip from Comics On Fire #1.

I'm so excited about my mini-comic and the Expo that I decided to post the FRONT cover!

I can't wait to leave for SPX in Bethesda. I'm lucky because it's only about an hour's drive from my house. I am bringing my mini-comic debut, COMICS ON FIRE #1. I present you now with the back (yes the back) cover.
